A Simple Breakdown of how it works

Since the frequency of the energy that we are on at the time attracts what we see in our reality, it is best to stay on an abundant frequency to attract more abundant things. Let me explain.

Where Your Energy Goes, Grows- Our Reticular Activating System (RAS), is a network of neurons located in the brain. This system is like a filter for our brain, sorting through all the information we get on a daily basis, keeping what we deem as important, and getting rid of the rest. This allows us to focus more and to tune into a specific thing or energy, with less distractions. When we set an intention or focus on something, this filter helps us to see more of that specific thing or energy. Think of it as the algorithm of the brain. When we are searching online or on social media, your algorithm will show you more of what aligns with what you have been searching for, or watching the most of. What we see in our 3D reality is basically an algorithm of what we spend most of our energy on.

For example: When you set the intention of buying a new car, or after you have already bought one, you may start to see more of that specific car because your brain has now deemed it as important to you. If you say I have a taste for a pizza, you may start to see pizza everywhere around you throughout the day. If you create the intention that you want to start a new business, your brain will help you to focus in on and notice more opportunities that will help you align with that intention that is important to you.

If you focus on more positive experiences, your brain will help you to focus in on and notice more positive experiences. If you focus or tune into more negative experiences, your brain will help you to see more of that as well.

This is because your brain is now tuned into a specific thing, or energy, and in order to help you focus on it, it will help you to see more of it, or what aligns you to it. This is why we see more of what we are putting our energy into. It is only our brain trying to help us to focus more on what we are already focusing on in the first place.

The RAS does not filter out “good” or “bad”, the RAS does not filter out real or fake, it only filters what you have trained your brain to believe is important to you, or what you are focusing on. This is why it is important to focus your energy on what you want to see more of. This is also how you can attract things that you do not have yet. It is more about what you focus on and how you feel, not specifically what you have.

This is why gratitude helps to get more in life. When you are focused on all the wonderful things you already have, everything you are grateful for, and all the experiences that make you happy, your brain will allow you to see more of that. Your brain will allow you to focus on more experiences to feel good about, and allow you to see more opportunities to be grateful for.

When someone is living out of “I want”, and “I need”, it is sending an energy of lack, an energy of missing something or being incomplete; because if you are asking for it, it must mean you do not have it, lack. This means your brain will show you more experiences that are incomplete or from lack. Instead, claim to already have whatever it is you want, even if you don’t physically already have it. As smart as the brain is, it does not know the difference. If you believe and feel strongly enough that you have the “thing”, even if you don’t, the brain will deem that as important and will help you focus on things that align with that path. This is how we are able to fear something that has not happened so much that it ends up coming true. Why not switch the energy to be more productive in a positive way?

The RAS works in between our conscious, the part of the mind that we are actively aware of, and the subconscious, the part of the mind that runs in the background without us thinking about it. Our brain is always subconsciously helping us to focus in on what is important to us, it is the everyday things we notice. What we notice throughout the day aligns with what is important to us at that time, and we don’t have to think about it. At the same time we are consciously and constantly sending signals to our brain on what is important and basically what to help us focus on, this is the part that we can consciously control, and think about. This is done with our thoughts, emotions and what we are spending our energy on- also letting the brain know what to help us focus on.

This is why the frequency of the energy that we are on at the time controls what we see in our reality, it is best to stay on an abundant, positive frequency to see more abundant and positive things.
